The text of this book, the study plan it renders and the code that accompanies the chapters are released under the MIT License. The same text is kept in the LICENSE file at the root of the repository.

Third-party material

Everything this book links to — university courses, MOOCs, textbooks, papers, lecture videos, datasets, model weights and software — keeps the license of its own author or publisher, and the MIT License below does not extend to any of it. Each resource is cited with its official page so that its terms can be checked there; the chapters note the license where it constrains use (for example the CC BY-NC-SA textbooks, or model weights under a community license). The PDFs a reader downloads into books/free/ are covered by the licenses listed in that folder's README.md, not by this one.
